Weyra Trading PLC is a privately held, multi-sector company headquartered in Bole Sub-City, Addis Ababa. Over more than a decade, we have built an active presence across export trade, construction materials supply, real estate development, and natural resource extraction.
We export Ethiopian sesame to Israel and work with established construction firms across Addis Ababa as a distributor of Dangote Cement and Derba Cement, two of the most recognized cement brands in Ethiopia. We also supply a broad range of construction materials and equipment to organizations across the country.
Our team of over 100 professionals works across all our operating divisions, bringing local expertise and international trading experience to every engagement. Weyra Trading is a company built on long-term relationships, reliable delivery, and a deep understanding of the Ethiopian market.
What We Do
We export premium Ethiopian sesame to international markets, with established buyers in Israel. Ethiopian sesame is among the most sought-after in the world for its quality, oil content, and flavor — and Weyra connects local farmers and aggregators to that global demand.
Weyra is an authorized distributor of Dangote Cement and Derba Cement across Addis Ababa, supplying contractors, developers, and project sites with reliable access to two of Ethiopia's leading cement brands. We also supply a wider range of construction goods to organizations and government bodies across the country.
We import heavy construction equipment from South Korea through our partnership with Total Construction Equipment, bringing reliable, high-performance machinery to Ethiopian construction and mining operations. Our import process is managed end-to-end, covering sourcing, customs clearance, and delivery.
Our real estate division operates across commercial and residential segments in Addis Ababa, with a focus on development projects that meet the city's growing demand for quality space. We work with developers, investors, and institutional buyers looking for reliable property partnerships in Ethiopia.
Weyra operates mechanized gold mining activities within Ethiopia, contributing to the country's natural resource sector. Our mining operations are managed with a focus on operational efficiency and compliance with Ethiopian mining regulations.
